Eco Tip of the Week

Did you know any paint can be transformed into chalkboard paint? Simply use any leftover household latex paint and mix in a few tablespoons of powdered grout...wah lah...you've just created your own custom colored chalkboard paint using left over paint!! Mix well and apply 2 coats of paint....Happy Painting.

Eco Tip of the Week

A Simple yet Crafty way to recycle an empty candle jar....turn it into an incense holder.

Once the candle is burned down, rinse out the container and dry thoroughly. Go for the natural look and leave the clear glass or if you're feeling spunky...decorate the outside of the jar with paint pens. Fill the jar with sand...then insert your incense sticks or cones. Light and Enjoy!

Local Sustainable Agriculture

I watched a Dan Rather special last night about the town of Hardwick, VT and how they have created a local sustainable agriculture system. I think this is amazing and really wanted to share the clip. It would be amazing if the entire country could follow. The quality of the food we eat is more important than having our food mass produced. Enjoy!!
